Mapping Southeast Louisiana's Recovery

Hurricanes Katrina and Rita dealt a major blow to Louisiana’s infrastructure, destroying homes, schools, hospitals, fire stations and more. In the three years since the storms, the state and federal governments have worked tirelessly to rebuild the state safer, smarter and stronger than before.

This map, a joint production of FEMA and the LRA, tracks just some of the progress southeast Louisiana has made recently.
